Love Eternal
a new series of monotypes

Eien No Ai
We have been living through difficult times: a deadly pandemic, disturbing extremism, a climate being pushed closer to its breaking point, and malevolent politicians promoting lies and pouring gasoline on every fire.
Out of this painful time, for me – and I hope for many - love has transcended the sadness and anger, emerging as an enduring and motivating force that helps us more clearly and deeply appreciate life and one another.
In my latest series I explore the resilience and timelessness of Love Eternal, with classical imagery and titles that remind us that love knows no borders.

Láska Věčná
Originally from London, and having recently become a U.S. citizen, Joanne's formal art training began at the Wimbledon Art School (London), followed by four years at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Israel's national school of art.
Joanne tries to create works that are thought provoking. The themes she explores are often, but not always, inspired by cultural events and include historical and mythological inspirations and references such as Narcissus, Nike, and most recently, Aphrodite. Her works also often express the ephemeral glory in the movement of dance and transient freedom of butterflies.
